Biografie

Ich bin am Jurasüdfuss in Bellach aufgewachsen und liebte es schon als kleines Kind, die Gegend mit meinem Fahrrad zu erkunden. Keine Wurzeln und kein Sprung war vor mir sicher. Mit knapp acht Jahren begann ich an Kinderrennen teilzunehmen. Am Anfang spielerisch im Parcour und später mit noch mehr Freude auf der Runde an den nationalen Anlässen. Die Wettkampfzeit begann und zog mich in ihren Bann. Nach der Schule absolvierte ich eine Lehre als Fahrradmechaniker EFZ und trainierte hart weiter. Ab U17 durfte ich erste Erfolge feiern, was mich anspornte, noch besser zu werden. Mittlerweile starte ich im Elite Welt Cup und messe mich mit den besten Mountainbiker der Welt.

What a year…

I don’t want to write a long text like everyone else about how my year and season went. But damn. This was for sure the toughest season of my life so far.
Starting my first Elite World Cup season without a team is literally the biggest nightmare you can imagine.

I’m proud of myself for never giving up, even in the darkest moments. But this was just bc I was surrounded by good peoples!
I suffered a lot but I guess this is part of the sport.
This will makes me stronger - I‘m sure.

Joining the @bmc_mtb_team means so much to me and to end the last world cup race in Canada on P16 is just a happy end of this chapter.
I’ve also changed some different things mid season and not every decision was easy - but right.
I‘m full gas. I’m ready for a new chapter! 😎
